Our remedial service design has emerged from our work over the last decade. We have assembled techniques to address focus, attention, behavior, socialization, and anger management based on the success of our clientele. Programming that is multi-sensory in presentation, with a great deal of hands-on experience and self-regulation has become the primary programming for remedial services. Any child who is creative, has imagination, and is struggling academically is an ideal candidate for our services. Some of these children will also exhibit depression, anger management limitations, and behavior problems.
This program focuses on identifying and using each client’s unique abilities to create strategies for improvement of life skills and self-management. Our clients are guided to apply these newfound strategies to all aspects of their life; including home, school, and community.
Under the direction of David Beeman, PhD, the staff at I LEARN provides implementation of personalized interventions based on the individual’s needs and talents. Implementation of new skills will ensure that every individual has the potential to tackle the variety of challenges encountered in daily living.
Our psychologists will continue to provide comprehensive assessment. The psychologists on our staff rely on experience and their commitment to accuracy when compiling data and arriving at diagnosis. We consider assessment to be our most important function. The more accurate the diagnosis; the better the treatment plan.
